During a blowout of the Chicago Bulls by the Sacramento Kings on Monday night, February 3, 2014, Derrick Williams after a steal, went speeding downcourt all alone with what many watching figured to be a typical Derrick Williams monster slam dunk! But instead, Williams blew the stuff after he tried to showboat against a Bulls team who were down 28 points with 3:10 left in the fourth quarter.

After sitting him on the bench, coach got on Williams, and rightfully so, as you will hear from a reporter at the game. There really was no need to do what Williams attempted to do and thus he deserves our C’MON MAN!! of the week. Watch:

BEST STAT-Luol Deng/Bulls Have A Memorable Night!

What a memorable night it was in Chicago on Saturday! Plenty of BEST STATS to go ’round as Luol Deng played his heart out, (as he usually does), in a thrilling overtime win vs the Toronto Raptors 102-101.

For Deng, it was his highest scoring game since March 2nd. It was also his second straight double-double as he poured in 23 points and had 10 rebounds. He also added two steals, one block, and four assists. But what truly made this a Best Stat entry is that Deng played for an amazing 50 minutes and only had one turnover!

With Derrick Rose missing his sixth straight game, Deng was summoned to play some extra minutes despite the fact that he has had some wrist issues over the past several weeks.

Besides his double-double and extended time on the floor, Deng, in an ultra-dramatic finish, also won the game for the Bulls, making a put-back with just 0.1 seconds remaining on the clock!

To top off Deng’s gutsy performance, the Bulls’ win turned out to be not just any win but their 40th of the season putting them at 40-10 and clinching a playoff spot! They’ll get some much needed rest on Sunday before facing the Denver Nuggets at home where they are 20-4 this season, on Monday.

Joakim Noah goes into the Bull’s record books…

It was quite a memorable night on Wednesday in Chicago as the Central Division leading Bulls beat the Milwaukee Bucks 110-91. The fans were treated to a historic event as well as Joakim Noah, with his 13 points, 13 rebounds, and 10 assists, became the first Bulls center to record a triple-double since Artis Gilmore did it 35 years ago on December 20, 1977 against the Atlanta Hawks!

Carlos Boozer poured in 20 points while Luol Deng and Derrick Rose added 16 apiece. Ronnie Brewer (15), reserves Kyle Korver (11) and Taj Gibson (10) all contributed scoring in double digits. But the night definitely belonged to J-No who fired up the crowd several times with his dunks, ( he had a gem against Beno Udrih), jumpers, and his stellar defense, all of which led to the Bulls easily garnering their seventh straight win over the Bucks.
