Just when you think you’ve seen it all, the weirdest thing happens. It was during Saturday’s ACC Virginia Tech-North Carolina game when #11 Virginia Tech wide receiver Dyrell Roberts found a strange object just near the line of scrimmage. (You’ll see what he found on the video below). An official time-out was immediately called, giving the player the opportunity to carry it off the field. Let’s just say that it was a good thing he did because some player might have gotten ‘cut’ during the game. Suffice it to say, it’s a good thing that the NFL replacement refs weren’t calling this one otherwise there would have been a 25 yard penalty and an automatic 5th down…
