O.J. Mayo on a breakaway… to the wrong basket? C’MON MAN!!

VIDEO: Just when you thought you had seen the last NBA player run the wrong way (see video of JaVale McGee below) O.J. Mayo has a lapse of memory and decides to run in the opposite direction thinking he’s on a breakaway. This was during Saturday’s Memphis Grizzles vs the Dallas Mavericks game. After the tip-off, Mayo thought he had a clear path to the basket but ran to the wrong one…

"Wrong way Mayo" lost sight of where he was after a tip-off.

And here is the JaVale McGee ‘mis-direction’ from a game back in the first week of February. His lack of concentration is just one of the reasons why McGee is no longer in Washington.

I still think the McGee video is funnier. The fact that he tried to cover up his mess-up with an alley-oop that failed made it great.
