It was quite a memorable night on Wednesday in Chicago as the Central Division leading Bulls beat the Milwaukee Bucks 110-91. The fans were treated to a historic event as well as Joakim Noah, with his 13 points, 13 rebounds, and 10 assists, became the first Bulls center to record a triple-double since Artis Gilmore did it 35 years ago on December 20, 1977 against the Atlanta Hawks!

Carlos Boozer poured in 20 points while Luol Deng and Derrick Rose added 16 apiece. Ronnie Brewer (15), reserves Kyle Korver (11) and Taj Gibson (10) all contributed scoring in double digits. But the night definitely belonged to J-No who fired up the crowd several times with his dunks, ( he had a gem against Beno Udrih), jumpers, and his stellar defense, all of which led to the Bulls easily garnering their seventh straight win over the Bucks.
“We got the W! It’s my birthday in a couple of days; there’s going to be a team function tonight with all the Bulls players, so it’s going to be fun.”
— Bulls center Joakim Noah

Like him too. Since his days as a Gator. Easy to see why he went in the 1st round (ninth pick overall) in the 2007 draft!

dude’s been putting in some serious time at the gym since he came into the league. especially noticeable if you see him live. i’d give him up in a deal for dwight howard but that’s about it. he helps make up for boozer’s post-play lameitude.

I like how Noah plays. He knows what the team needs him to do, so he’s not out there trying to shoot 3s, or drop 30 points a game. He plays defense and rebounds.

Yes, I agree. I’ve been following him since his days as a Florida Gator Hard worker like you said.
Love the guy!!

Crazy! It’s rare to see a center pull of triple doubles. I’ve always liked Noah, hard worker and great effort.

What makes it even more unusual for a center is that it was points/reb./ and assists. You would think maybe blocks instead of assists for a big guy…Just a complete player!
