"Jeremy who?" Kobe one day before Friday night's game really didn't know too much about the rising phenom. Photo: yahoo!sports.co
One thing is for sure, Kobe and the rest of the Lakers will have plenty of time while they fly to Toronto to soak in what it’s like to play against the N.Y. Knicks newest Superstar, Jeremy Lin. The Garden was rocking tonight as Lin put on a clinic for the home crowd scoring a career high 38 points to go along with 7 assists, 4 rebounds and 2 steals. It was the Knicks fourth win in a row and first win vs the Lakers in 9 tries.
The team played with an intensity and energy that has eluded them for most of the season. All 17,963 in attendance stood for most of the last 5 minutes of the game as the Lakers made it interesting in the final moments. The win was also significant as it came with both Amare (personal) and Melo (groin) out. Lin’s 38 points are the most by a Knick all season.
Below you will see Kobe on Thursday when he was asked if he had heard about all the excitement surrounding Jeremy Lin. He won’t soon forget him now…

This performance legitimized Lin in my eyes… 38 points on 56% shooting, 7 assists, and 4 boards against a playoff-bound team. #RealDeal

You’re absolutely right Joe…It was a Kobe-esque kind of performance! The Garden hasn’t rocked like this since the 90’s!
Thanks for checking in. how is the new site doing?

Thanks man! I appreciate it, I am trying to get as many views and followers as possible so I can get some feedback on what I am putting out there. But yea I agree, Lin is playing great! He is extremely efficient, my fav part is him shooting 52% this season.
