Cleveland Brown coach Pat Shumur said yesterday that injured RB and this year’s Madden Poster Boy Peyton Hillis carried the ball during practice for the first time in three weeks. Coach has deemed Hillis as a ‘game time decision’ for their match-up against the Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday. The much beleagured back told the Cleveland Plain-Dealer that his hamstring, which he injured six weeks ago, felt “100%”. RB Montario Hardesty is currently listed as Questionable but is ‘ready to play’.

He shouldn’t be. Photos of players on the cover of Sports Illustrated has presented more of a ‘Jinx’ than a ‘Curse’. But a great analogy & observation. Maybe there’s a blog for another day on SI front pages…. :-)
