VIDEO: He’s done it again!! Ron Artest, the basketball player know as Metta World Peace, has stooped to a new low, if that’s possible with him. He was ejected for a flagrant foul against OKC Thunder star James Harden in the second quarter on Sunday when he threw an elbow to Harden’s head.

World Peace had just dunked on a Lakers fast break and was celebrating his feat. As he was making his way up the court, he ran into Harden, pounded his chest like Tarzan, and then threw his left elbow into the back of Harden’s head. The blow forced Harden to the floor where he lay for several minutes. Harden’s teammates, especially Serge Ibaka challenged World Peace, but were kept apart by officials and several other teammates.
It’s just another is a long line of inane, immature, and stupid physical altercations that have been a part of Artest’s game since his days with the Indiana Pacers. The one today could very well have rendered Harden unconscious and therefore could have been more serious than it turned out to be. Fines and a probable suspension will surely follow but it’s just a matter of time before this loose cannon strikes again, unless of course World Peace, upon appeal, can talk his way out of danger claiming it was all just an accident caused by too much celebrating. You be the judge…Here is the (VIDEO):
