"...We're all on one-year contracts..."
~Tom Coughlin, Head Coach of the New York Giants~
From 2006-2011, there have been some 50 new NFL head coaches hired. That's about a 30 percent turnover ratio for the league. What's more, some sources say teams are "quicker on the draw," willing to blow out coaches sooner than ever before...
It wasn't all that long ago that the overall consensus was to give a new coach about 3 years to produce a winning team.

Lovie Smith and Norv Turner have to be atop of that list without a doubt .
Dropped this piece on the NFL but with regard to the New Jersey gambling initiative as it will have serious ramifications four the four major professional sports as well as the NCAA .
If interested let me know what you think ?

I agree with most on the list for the exception of …Rex Ryan. Rex isn’t going anyway unless the Jets go 1-15. Woody Likes Rex too much to fire him now. The guy on the hot seat on the Jets is the general manager Mike Tannebaum.
