"People are not going to understand; I'll share more later. It's out there that my marriage is falling apart and people are trying to figure out what's going on, but it's nobody's business. When I want you to know, I'll let you know."
~Josh Hamilton, Texas Rangers outfielder~
The Ranger's veteran All-Star is adamant. He doesn't want to get into details about his private life, the personal "demons" which haunt him daily.

Hamilton will always continue to have his issues , he already continues to make a mockery of his faith to begin with and his sobriety without holding himself accountable for his actions .
Hamilton isn’t the first, but the latest of a long line sadly of talented and troubled players. Strawberry Gooden, Steve Howe,Mickey Mantle are among the sad list of those who couldn’t beat their demons. If I were Josh Hamilton I would stay in Texas after the season when he is a free agent. The Rangers have stood by him through his troubles. It would look bad for him if he left after all they have put up with him.
Good point! Not surprisinly he leads the majors in HRs and RBIs and honestly there won’t be that many teamsthat could afford him.
And, if the Rangers finally do go “all the way” this year, Hamilton would be extra foolish to look for greener pastures in free agency…
