As a New York Giants fan, it is starting to get frustrating to watch the contract talks between the team and star defensive lineman Osi Umenyiora drag out. He is one of the most dominant defensive players the organization has ever had, and that’s saying a lot when you consider all the greats who have played for the Giants.
Without Umenyiora’s physical presence on the defensive front, I highly doubt New York would have beaten New England in either of its Super Bowl wins over the Patriots.
